Juanita Nielsen disappeared on the morning of 4 July 1975.  She was last seen at the Carousel Club, where she’d gone to discuss the club advertising in her newspaper NOW. What followed was an investigation hampered by red herrings, political and business intrigues, whiffs of corrpution and plenty of theories. In 2021, the ABC aired their ill-fated documentary and podcast series which had some wild allegations but added very little to telling the mystery of Juanita’s disappearance.
